Body & Ornementation

Through the collection Germs & Muscles, the body is used as a study case and a source of contemplation. Shooting body elements under a microscope, the images are reproduced but twisted into imaginary elements.

It is about introspection and familiarisation with what we are made of. Those illustrations, are a study that aim to use the flesh as a graphic inspiration to design an alternative kind of ornementation.  The body is in fact both little known and arouse a little interest among most of people. Therefor, the infinite source of elements that compose bodies can catch disgust off balance.

At the end, this set of drawings proposes a visual experience to engage a different vision of our body. As an observer, one is invited to get tangled up in a fantasising  even an abstraction of the being.
